Workday Update segment

Looking to incorporate more laughter into your work environment, but not sure how? We’ve got plenty of suggestions, from virtual comedy to live shows. Our experiences are designed to introduce laughter at times when you’re already gathering and to help facilitate team bonding. Check out a few options we’ve seen successful for bringing more humor into the workplace:

1. Make Laugh Breaks a Habit

Whether you’re just taking a 5 minute pause before diving into a planning meeting, or inviting a comedian to join your Zoom for a Laugh Break, we encourage teams to build routine moments of laughter into the schedule whenever possible. We offer super short virtual comedy shows that can be tacked on to the beginning or end of an existing meeting to make laughter breaks easy.

2. Share Your Favorite Memes

One question we love to ask teams is, “What’s a meme that you think describes the past year?” We’ll share the submissions live in our Workday Update segment, giving team members a few minutes to share their selections and rank their favorites. The Workday Update segment provides a time to laugh about relatable workplace memes, office traditions, and overused buzzwords, and is a great way to close out a stressful quarter.

3. Attend a Post-Work Comedy Show

Looking for some creative entertainment and team bonding opportunities on a weeknight? Check out our After-Work programming for some 5-9 entertainment in NYC to close out a long day. We invite co-workers to check out this unique event featuring NYC’s best stand up comedians for happy hour entertainment.
