Kevin describes a science-backed approach to encouraging laughter in work environments in a consistent manner
In a recent TLNT article, our Founder Kevin Hubschmann discusses how humor first became a part of his work culture, and how he is now helping companies incorporate it into theirs. Peter Crush, interim TLNT editor, outlines Hubschmann’s mission to stress the importance of laughter in the workplace by hiring comedians for corporate events, and how this benefits the companies in turn.
The onset of the pandemic pushed Kevin to reconsider how to continue his mission to spread laughter, prompting him to launch virtual comedy shows. “People felt lonely, disconnected, and anxious,” he explains. “By providing a comedic experience we created a way for companies to build in time where everyone could come together virtually, have a shared experience, and go away having had a good laugh and feeling better about themselves.”
Kevin tells how Laugh.Events has managed to adapt to the challenges of the moment, whether it’s the work environment, increased burnout, or current events, constantly iterating on the corporate comedy show experiences offered.
