Bring laughter to your end of year virtual holiday party
When the end of the year arrives, every team member of your hard working squad deserves a virtual end of year celebration. A virtual holiday Laugh Event is one of the best experiences you can do for a remote team and host a virtual celebration that you can be proud of that truly tells your team how thankful you are for their hard work.
How can we make your end of the year party fun?
It’s a celebration, y’all
Holiday parties for remote teams are all about virtual celebrations. Holiday parties are all about putting the vegetables away and giving out cotton candy. Engaging your team in laughter will enhance the celebration and make this a very special occasion. Host a virtual year-end event everyone will thank you endlessly for.
You can’t go wrong
Virtually celebrate year end however you’d like. Hosting a virtual holiday party is great because it gives team members to enjoy any type of format to your event. With a Laugh Event virtual celebration, you have the option to play games with a lot of laughter, hire a comedian who will have the audience gasping for air, or both!
Audience participation
Depending on the type of group that you have, make a decision on how much engagement you’re looking to have. There are many options to choose from zero crowd engagement to including everyone and making the entire group part of the show. Our recommendation is a happy medium to maximize the funny.
Celebrate end of the year with your team virtually
Recap the year with office buzzwords, memes, and more
The biggest laughs of the year may already have happened when a team member received a meme or heard a cringey buzzword and shared it around the office Slack. We’ll ask attendees for this content via a survey and incorporate it into the show. We’ll also ask attendees for their office memes, favorite office buzzwords, best holiday gift they ever received, and their most over-played song of the year. This engaging and hilarious event is the perfect amount of crowd participation and comic back and forth - in fact, it’s necessary that we have those cameras and mics on for the event to be as epic as you deserve.
Play games with fun facts
Remote team members can go an entire year without learning new things about their fellow co-workers. If that’s the case for you, play games of Bingo that are filled with personal anecdotes and stories to share with the rest of your remote team. This is the perfect event for teams that are looking to spend the holiday season with learning more about their coworkers and sharing personal stories and hilarious moments
Create songs with musical comedian improvisers
A end of the year activity allows us to reflect on our biggest moments, most difficult projects, and grittiest wins. Well why not do that…in song! Musical improvisers will interview your remote team members, or ask them questions in the chat and be as curious as possible. This curiosity soon leads to musical jam(s) that will leave your mouth agape in laughter.
Laugh at stand up comedy with your remote team
It always feels great to grab an ice cold beverage from your fridge, log into your virtual end of year celebration, and watch world-class stand up comedians deliver joke after joke in brilliant fashion. Stand up comedy is the perfect Laugh Event because the comedians on our roster are some of the best in the country. Stand up comedy is a great option for high quality entertainment for a group wantsloves to laugh and have fun for your virtual celebration.
Take a curveball of entertainment with Juggling and Jokes
When you think you have just about seen it all - stand up comedians, jugglers, magicians, etc. - Marcus Monroe goes ahead and says “hold by beer” and combines all of these talents into a single show called Juggling and Jokes. This world class stand up comedian not only will leave you in awe, but he will make you laugh hard at his incredible set ups and punchlines. This experience is one of the most unique remote team activities since the Zoom age of virtual celebrations.

FAQs
-
While any platform can work, we highly recommend using Zoom for your virtual event. That said, platforms such as Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, GoToMeeting, On24, and others can work well.
-
Laugh.Events boasts an extensive list of comedians and in order to pick the best ones for your event, we will ask the event organizer to complete a pre-event survey to learn your preferences and group dynamics. From there, we will leverage historical data to pick the comedian(s) that will ensure a successful event.
-
This answer is dependent on the type of event that you’re doing, but our recommendation is a regular meeting link. The reason is that when you are on a webinar platform, comedians will have no feedback on how their material is received, which is important for a virtual comedy event.

If your team is not interested in being present on their microphones and cameras, that does not mean we will not have an excellent show. That being said, hearing laughter and seeing smiles allows comedians to feed off the energy from the crowd and will result in a better show. Laughter is contagious and even having just one microphone on can significantly improve a performance.

No technical requirements! Just be on your microphones and cameras and be great audience members - laughing and smiling (if you feel so inclined).
