Introducing Laughter as a Service (LaaS)

Laugh.Events Founder Kevin Hubschmann shares the story of how the company has evolved along with work culture

Introducing LaaS (Laughter as a Service), the latest revolution in fostering workplace harmony and productivity. Our founder, Kevin Hubschmann, had the pleasure of conversing with BizBash's Editorial Director, Shannon Thaler, about the birth of Laugh.Events, a company born out of his passion for stand-up comedy and event tech experience.

Reflecting on his journey, Kevin fondly remembered the first corporate comedy events, where laughter from the employees filled the air. No longer was the amusement generated by professional comedians but instead by the employees themselves. Kevin noted, "We created an environment that encouraged joyfulness, playfulness, and a dash of silliness. The laughter that resonated through the room wasn't fleeting. It formed a bond among the employees that has proven to be long-lasting."

At the heart of Laugh.Events is the belief that laughter can act as a powerful tool to foster deeper, more meaningful connections within a workplace. It's not just about sharing a laugh; it's about breaking down barriers between teams, enhancing communication, and building trust - all of which are critical to the success of a company.

Today, with a successful track record of over 400 corporate events, Laugh.Events shows no signs of slowing down. The joy and connectivity fostered through our comedy events have proven to be a valuable asset to many organizations, especially in these challenging times. It's clear that laughter isn't just the best medicine; it's also a fantastic morale booster.

Developed as a response to the struggles corporations are facing in the post-pandemic era, LaaS offers a unique solution: fostering human connection and personal relationships through laughter. How often have you interacted with colleagues outside of your department in a non-work context? Our comedy events facilitate interactions that let you see the person behind the title.

If the prospect of bringing a dose of joy to your workplace through fun-filled, engaging corporate events piques your interest, we invite you to read the full interview and learn more about our pandemic-born company.
