Celebrating Jewish Comedians

Laugh.Events honors Jewish Comedians as part of DIVERSITY, EQUITY, & INCLUSION Through Comedy series

Did you know? In 1978, Time magazine reported that approximately 80 percent of professional comedians in the US were Jewish.*

At Laugh.Events, we’re proud to celebrate Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion through comedy, and this April, we’re highlighting the work of Jewish Comedians. All month long, we’re sharing quotes from A Small Book of Jewish Comedians by Bobby Slayton and Tony Nourmand.

Looking for Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion celebration opportunities for your team? Here are a few ways to celebrate:

  • Check out our DEI-focused in-person corporate comedy shows and team building activities on Zoom. We’re showcasing Stand Up comedy shows featuring Jewish comedians for the month of April. Comedians have appeared at The Comedy Cellar and Carolines, on The Tonight Show, and many other esteemed programs and NYC comedy clubs. Visit laugh.events/contact to talk to our team and book a stand up comedian.

  • Follow us on Instagram as we share more of our favorite quotes from famous Jewish Comedians throughout history this month!
