How Does It Work?

  • Once your team representative completes a pre-event survey that tells us all about the group, the background of the event, and any extra important details that you’d like to include, we will hand select the best comic for your event.

  • For an on-site event, in order for the event to work best, we require, at minimum, a microphone with amplification. If you cannot provide one, let us know and we can rent this for you for a fee.

  • Once the event and AV details are squared away, we are all set! Show up with a positive attitude and be ready to have fun, but even if you’re not in the mood, don’t worry, your mood will change in no time.

  • A customized comedy show will include a host for the event and act as the master of ceremonies to keep things going in between acts. Additionally, depending on the acts that you select and their availability, they will also be included. AV is not included, but can be purchased as an additional package.

  • The Workplace Variety Hour is typically at minimum 45 minutes and maximum 2 hours. We recommend keeping the event to be under 90 minutes for the sake of the audience’s attention, but we can make the event as long as you’d like!

  • Traditional comedy clubs feature some of the best comedians available, but for a corporate comedy experience, it makes sense to hire comedians specifically for your group. This allows you to let them know ahead of the event things you don’t want mentioned, and an opportunity for the comedian to further customize their material to best fit your audience and event.

  • It is recommended that for a live comedy event, everyone is seated or sitting behind those who are seated. Additionally, we require a microphone and amplification so the comedians can be heard above everyone else. As a bonus, any sort of stage setting is ideal. Lastly, we require that everyone be good audience members and that there is limited to no outside noise that could pollute the performance space.
