Stand up comedy
If you’re looking for a sure fire way to get your team to laugh, you should hire a stand up comedian. The comedians that are on our roster are some of the best in the entire country and have been working remote audiences consistently since 2020. Whether your team is someone who won’t get off mute or can’t shut up, our stand up comedians can roll with the punches and deliver the punchlines.
Holiday-themed games
There are a lot of different games that you can play during the holiday season that fit perfectly with a holiday party. These can be games that are focused on gift giving like Secret Santa and White Elephant, or games that are more focused around the holiday itself like Christmas Bingo and Christmas Trivia. Either way, having a comedian host whatever game you end up choosing ensures a great time.
Custom songs with musical comedy
Don’t know how to tell someone how you feel? Well put it into a song! Our team is full of Musical Improvisers will join your call, ask your audience questions live during the event, and then create a song on the spot that is not only catchy, but absolutely hilarious. This song can be about literally anything that you want - they will take your suggestions and then turn it into a song that you will be singing all throughout the holiday season.
Personalized games of trivia and bingo
Almost always during the holiday season it is less about any specific holiday and more about the people that you are spending it with. Some of our favorite events during the holiday season are games of bingo and trivia that focus on answers submitted by your group ahead of the event. These could be answers to questions like: What is a fun fact about yourself?, What is your most played song of the year?, What is a unique skillset that you have that no one else knows about?
Interactive comedy show with memes and GIFS
The comedy that sometimes hits the hardest are the the ones that reference something that made you laugh really hard previously. That is why we’ve created a comedy show that is all about laughing about current events (nothing racy or political), memes, and GIFs. In this interactive comedy show, we’ll ask people to be on their cameras and microphones to raise their hands, interact with the comedian, and by the end of the show, we will even award an audience MVP.
How do we make a virtual Christmas party fun?
-
Once your team representative completes a pre-event survey that tells us all about the group, the background of the event, and any extra important details that you’d like to include, we will hand select the best comic for your event.
-
Once the event details are squared away, we are all set! Show up with a positive attitude and be ready to have fun, but even if you’re not in the mood, don’t worry, your mood will change in no time.

FAQs
-
While any platform can work, we highly recommend using Zoom for your virtual event. That said, platforms such as Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, GoToMeeting, On24, and others can work well.
-
Laugh.Events boasts an extensive list of comedians and in order to pick the best ones for your event, we will ask the event organizer to complete a pre-event survey to learn your preferences and group dynamics. From there, we will leverage historical data to pick the comedian(s) that will ensure a successful event.
-
This answer is dependent on the type of event that you’re doing, but our recommendation is a regular meeting link. The reason is that when you are on a webinar platform, comedians will have no feedback on how their material is received, which is important for a virtual comedy event.
-
If your team is not interested in being present on their microphones and cameras, that does not mean we will not have an excellent show. That being said, hearing laughter and seeing smiles allows comedians to feed off the energy from the crowd and will result in a better show. Laughter is contagious and even having just one microphone on can significantly improve a performance.
-
No technical requirements! Just be on your microphones and cameras and be great audience members - laughing and smiling (if you feel so inclined).

The best way to set up a virtual Christmas online party is to first choose the platform that you are going to use for your video call. We highly recommend Zoom as it is the best for virtual events - there are a lot of benefits on the video quality, sound clarity, and screen-share capabilities. Google Meet is also another good option. The next thing you want to do is look at who is going to host a virtual party - are you going to hire someone from outside your organization or are you going to hire from within. We are biased, but so is the data - getting an outside facilitator will allow people to buy in and have more fun.
