How does a Fun Fact Trivia virtual comedy show work?

Once your team representative completes a pre-event survey that tells us all about the group, the background of the event, and any extra important details that you’d like to include, we will hand select the best comic for your event.

We will send your event organizer a pre-event survey for your team to complete. We will take these answers to create the questions and answers for the game.

Once the event details are squared away, we are all set! Show up with a positive attitude and be ready to have fun, but even if you’re not in the mood, don’t worry, your mood will change in no time.

Usually, regular trivia is an escape from your co-workers to talk about general topics. With Fun Fact Trivia, the questions and answers are all about your team and fun facts about them. This fosters a wonderful team bonding moment as you learn different things about your team that you may not have known about before. We have found that Fun Fact Trivia leads to teammates reaching out to one another after events to talk about similar experiences that they have, so it has a long lasting effect and event some inside jokes that continue well beyond the event.

For large teams, we will send out our pre-event survey which will allow individuals to answer. Generally, not everyone answers the survey, so we will take the answers that we do receive, and boil them down to what we believe are the most fun and unique answers. Then, we will play the game and someone will be crowned champion of the office.

For this event, it is very important that everyone have their microphones and cameras on since we will be asking the attendees to participate in the event. Since the event is all about your team, if no one is on the cameras and microphones, we won't have much of a show.

While any platform can work, we highly recommend using Zoom for your virtual event. That said, platforms such as Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, GoToMeeting, On24, and others can work well.

Laugh.Events boasts an extensive list of comedians and in order to pick the best ones for your event, we will ask the event organizer to complete a pre-event survey to learn your preferences and group dynamics. From there, we will leverage historical data to pick the comedian(s) that will ensure a successful event.

This answer is dependent on the type of event that you’re doing, but our recommendation is a regular meeting link. The reason is that when you are on a webinar platform, comedians will have no feedback on how their material is received, which is important for a virtual comedy event.
