Laugh.Events Hosts “A Comedy Show for Charity” Supporting RFK Human Rights

May 11th benefit show raises over $10K in ticket sales, auction, and donations

On May 11th, we hosted “A Comedy Show for Charity” supporting RFK Human Rights. The fundraising event, which took place at Chelsea Music Hall, was hosted by Laugh.Events Founder Kevin Hubschmann and kicked off with a set by Kerry Kennedy, President of RFK Human Rights. The stand up comedy lineup featured Jay Jurden, Ian Fidance, and Jessica Kirson. Daniel Tepper and Adrien Pellerin, a musical comedy duo, closed the night with a series of improvised songs featuring Kennedy and incorporating suggestions from the audience - met with a standing ovation.

In total, the event raised over $10K through ticket sales, a live auction, and donations. The Laugh.Events Team worked with Sierra Ewert, Director of Campaigns & Mobilization for RFK Human Rights, to coordinate the event. “We're so grateful for Kevin and the whole Laugh.Events team for everything they did onstage and off to make such an amazing night possible! This was the first comedy event we’ve done to fundraise, and it allowed us to bring together an audience of team members and friends for an evening focused on celebrating the work we’ve done and looking towards the future,” says Ewert.

As part of our after-work offerings, we host one of the best comedy shows in NYC. Our “Comedy Show for Charity” series offers a unique event opportunity to bring people together and laugh for a good cause.
